Leona Lewis Falls Off Her Horse, Sports Crutches But No Major Injuries

British songbird Leona Lewis, A few months ago a fan punched her in the face at her book signing, and then just a day before New Year's Eve, she took a tumble off her horse in L.A. and has been spotted hobbling around on crutches. The hits just keep coming! At least her music career really took off in 2009.

She wasn't seriously injured from the fall, but the songstress was apparently thrown from the horse when it took off into a speedy gallop. A friend of hers said (via Perez Hilton): “Leona was riding the day before New Year Eve and fell off when the horse started galloping too fast. She went to emergency. It was pretty scary. She had quite a tumble

Sources said she is doing well, and will get right back up on the horse -- once her boo-boos have healed.

Travis Pastrana New Year's Eve 2009: Accomplishes World Record Rally Car Jump

Travis Pastrana set a New Year's Eve world record for jumping his Subaru Impreza WRX STI 274 feet across Pine Avenue Pier in Long Beach, California. The motocross champion and stunt performer launched his car over open water, careening into a wall after the jump, but emerged victoriously and unscathed.

The jump was televised on ESPN live, after the Chick-Fill-A Bowl this evening, in front of a screaming audience. Pastrana backflipped into the water after setting the record.

He'd apparently been practicing jumps that distance in the desert, but he was still a little nervous about the real deal. He said previously (via NowPublic.com): "I'm still scared to death. There's always a risk. But it's worth it to wake up every morning with a passion."

Tiger Woods is latest sponsorship AT&T

NEW YORK (AP) - AT&T Inc. said Thursday it would no longer sponsor Tiger Woods, joining Accenture in dropping support for the world's top golfer, who's taking a break from the sport to focus on his marriage after his admitted infidelity.

The phone company hasn't used Woods' image extensively in advertising, but its logo appeared on his golf bag. That deal had been billed as a "multiyear" agreement when it was signed early in 2009, after Buick ended its endorsement one year early because of its financial woes.
